Yuriy started his career as an assistant director on a documentary series about Ukrainian and international celebrities in 2011.
In 2019, Yuriy received the Top 30 under 30 award from the oldest English-languagenewspaper, Kyiv Post, for his contribution to the development of Ukrainian society.
Some of his works were officially selected or won at Ukrainian and international video festivals (1.4 Awards, Berlin Music Video Awards, Bolton International Film Festival, Kyiv Fashion Film Festival, LGBT+ Film Festival Poland, La Jolla Fashion Film Festival, POFF, Stockholm International Film Festival and many others).
In 2023 he was selected to Berlinale Talents Sarajevo for Pack&Pitch program with his documentary film Step into the Comfort Zone.
Yuriy has bachelor’s degree in Film and TV Arts
