Born in Jordan, Azza Hourani started her cinema journey at the age of eighteen when she took a filmmaking workshop in Amman. In 2010 she produced her first feature film with award winning director Everett Lewis. In 2011 she graduated with a higher diploma from the Red Sea Institute of Cinematic Arts concentrating on producing and sound. She then focused her work on the regional and the international market, producing with institutions such as National Geographic, O2 Productions/ MBC and various non-profit organizations. On days she is not producing, Azza enjoys working on fiction film sets as an assistant director.
