Veronika holds degrees in Theory of Culture (Charles University) and Screenwriting and Dramaturgy (FAMU). From 2012-2017 she led Ex Oriente Film and the East European Forum at the Institute of Documentary Film in Prague. She later joined DAFilms as programme curator and acquisitions manager. Her debut Daniel’s World premiered in Berlinale Panorama. Veronika's feature film, The Visitors, premiered at Locarno and screened at 40+ international festivals. In 2024, her feature The Year of the Widow premiered at the Warsaw IFF.
She currently works as a creative producer for TV NOVA/Oneplay.
