Hana Kulhánková is currently East Doc Manager at the Institute of Documentary Film. She works as a freelance professional for film festivals, film and cultural institutions, and serves as an independent expert for the Czech Audiovisual Fund and the Czech Ministry of Culture. She has curated cultural conferences in cooperation with the Czech Desk of Creative Europe Culture. Hana was Director of Prague Pride Festival and One World IHRDFF. She is co-editor of the textbook Setting Up a Human Rights Film Festival, Vol. 2 and the manual How to Set Up a Screening Venue by KineDok. She graduated from English and American Studies at Masaryk University in Brno, studied at Ruhr-Universität Bochum in Germany. She advocates for gender equality and is actively engaged in AI transformation.
