Lixi Frank was born 1987 in Schmalkalden, Germany, and raised in Hallein, Austria. After finishing high school she went to Vienna to study theatre, film and media studies, as well as communication studies. She completed her master degree in 2012. In 2011 she got accepted at the Filmacademy Vienna to major in production. During her studies she worked as a location manager and production manager. After the bachelor degree in film production at the Filmacademy Vienna in 2015, she worked as a junior producer at Nikolaus Geyrhalter Filmproduktion for projects like “L’ANIMALE” (directed by Katharina Mückstein). 2016 she produced her first feature documentary film called “Paradise! Paradise!” (directed by Kurdwin Ayub). In 2018 she started together with David Bohun her own production company.
Austria
