Award-winning DOP/Co-director Gary Griffin has made a half-lifetime committment todocumenting Czech life and culture after experiencing and shooting the 1989 VelvetRevolution. He won Best Cinematography at the 2005 Sundance IFF for THEEDUCATION OF SHELBY KNOX and has shot over 80 documentary films for PBS,HBO, Czech TV and several other broadcasters. He has worked extensively withdocumentarian Barbara Kopple, teaches film at American University in Washington, DCand is the faculty liaison for their study abroad program in Prague.
