Vilma Samulionytė (1978) is a visual artist who mostly focuses on photography and video. Having graduated from FAMU (Film and TV school, Prague) in 2009, she worked as a photographer in Saudi Arabia. In 2013 she was nominated for a Unesco/Aschberg bursary at the Instituto Sacatar in Brazil. Now she lives in Vilnius and works as a curator of photography for the Lithuanian Photographers Association. Her main topic in personal art work is social habits, heritage and memory.
