Anja Dziersk started her career as a TV journalist and was a film critic for German TV in Hamburg for several years, before joining TV-broadcaster SAT.1 in Berlin in the department for acquisitions of TV Films and Series. In 2002, she and her partner Stefan Kloos founded the production company Kloos & Co. Medien which produces documentaries for international TV and cinema. Together with Kloos, she also directed and edited the documentary „Dance With Me“ about the history of film musicals for a theme evening on ARTE. In 2008, Kloos and Dziersk had found the world sales company Rise and Shine, where Anja is amongst others responsible for festivals/sales of the film catalogue.
