Marijana Verhoef from Deltion College in The Netherlands. Holder of MA in Dramaturgy and Creative Writing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, University of Arts in Belgrade. She works as a writer, documentary filmmaker and dramaturg in Berlin, often in collaboration with Lazy Bear Animation. She collaborated on several productions at Deutsches Theater Berlin. Her comedy “Amsterdam” was staged by Turkish theatre director Nurkan Erpulat at Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus in 2014. Her monologue “Bunny-Boy” was presented at the Festival New Plays from Europe under the mentorship of Mark Ravenhill. The play “Playboy” will premiere at Theater Augsburg in April 2015. Currently she is in development stage of her debut documentary feature “Sofke’s World”, as well as a fiction feature, “Margita”.
