producer. Premiere: Berlinale 2012.
My last feature film HEAD COLD, an autobiographical look at life with schizophrenia,
premiered at Berlinale 2010 and has had a successful theatrical and DVD release in Germany,
touring to full houses in 50 cities.
An autobiographical feature film by Steffen Reck and myself entitled ENGELBECKEN an
essay about defection from East Germany is currently in post-production. The project which I
am producing and co-directing is invited to exhibit at Künstlerhaus Bethanien Gallery and is
funded for production by the German Ministry of Culture (BKM).
In 2009 I produced and directed BORN UNIFINISHED - an experimental short
documentary.
With script funds (FFA) I am developing PHOENIX a personal creative documentary project
re-visiting the year 1944 in Budapest, with my father recounting his stories avoiding
deportation as a Jewish boy.
