Since 1994 she has been working as a producer at Dschoint Ventschr Filmproduktion. In 1998 she took part in the screenplay development seminar «Step by Step», which is organised annually by the Medienboard Berlin and the Master School Drehbuch (screenpaly). In 1999 she took part in European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs (EAVE).
Karin Koch has to date produced more than 30 films, including the documentary films "Do it", "Ya Sharr Mout" and "Gambit" by Sabine Gisiger or Samir's «Forget Baghdad», but also feature films such as «Silberwald (Silver forest)» by Christine Repond, «Satte Farben vor Schwarz (Rich colours in front of black)» by Sophie Heldman or Xavier Koller's «Die Schwarzen Brüder (The black brothers)». She has been actively involved in film politics for years, including on the board
