Ivana Pauerová- Miloševičová is a film director and documentary dramaturgy based in Prague, Czech Republic. A graduate of Charles University’s Faculty of Humanities and from Prague’s Film Academy (FAMU), she is the co-founder of the Institute of Documentary Film (IDF). From 2003 to 2012 she was the head of the Ex Oriente Film workshop for the Institute of Documentary Film, and of the East European Forum, and often works as an external lecturer for FAMU. Her documentaries include Never Been Better (2006), on the situation in postwar Bosnia, and Ladies in White (2008), about the wives, mothers, and sisters of Cuban dissidents. She was elected to the executive committee of the European Documentary Network (EDN) in 2009, and since 2012, has cooperated with Czech Television in the role of project supervisor and script developer for documentary films and series.
