Ioana Lascăr is a Romanian film producer. During her time in film school, she started producing her colleagues’ shorts and got selected in film festivals such as San Sebastian, Karlovy Vary, Transilvania FF, DOK Leipzig, and many more. She is currently working under the umbrella of deFilm Production. Ioana is the executive producer of the features Marita and The story of a summer-lover, selected at Karlovy Vary, Tallinn Black Nights and Transilvania IFF, the shorts Black Clothes, The Comet and The Best Customer, selected in festivals such as Locarno, Warsaw, Anima Mundi, Bristol, Gent etc. She is currently developing two documentaries, one animation part of the CEE Animation Workshop and a feature film as minority co-producer, supported by the Romanian CNC.
