Ana Vijdea, a Romanian film producer and director, holds an MFA in Film from Syracuse University and an MA in Documentary Film Directing from DocNomads. Her portfolio includes several documentaries as well as a Virtual Reality project, all of which have gained international recognition at festivals such as IDFA, Visions du Réel, and True/False, among others. In 2017, Filmmaker Magazine recognized Ana as one of the "25 New Faces of Independent Cinema." That same year, she co-founded Remora Films with Cosmin Nicoara.



Her film, May the Earth Become the Sky, for which she served as producer and director, was nominated for the Silver Eye Award. Blue, for which she was the director, is part of the East Silver Caravan.
