Csaba Hernáth was born on the 22th of February, 1989. He studied Communication and Media Science BA (Kodolányi János University of Applied Sciences) and MA (Budapest University of Technology and Economics). During his studies he worked at Café Film, where he met László Józsa, founder of The Speakeasy Project. After graduating in 2012, he started working for The Speakeasy Project as cinematographer and editor. In the same year the team shot the first episode of their first documentary project, the Leave/Stay series. After its success Csaba became a co-owner of the company and several documentary projects followed: Csaba was key crew member of ULTRA (DOP, assistant editor) and editor of Ghetto Balboa. Csaba's first direction is Veteranfilm.
