Dita Lánská studied theatre studies at the Department of Theatre Studies (Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University, Brno), where she also participated in a research project. Her research interest is aimed at Czech history of theatre theory. 2013-2017 she worked in the academic department library.
Since 2017 is head of the Theatre and Film Department at Municipal Library of Prague. 2018 she completed a retraining course for librarians. 2020-2022 she also co-organized the HUMAIN conference which was focused on artificial intelligence in art, design and humanities. Since 2023 she is vice-chairwoman of Czech Society for Theatre Research.
