Byron Kritzas was born in Heraklion, Crete. Since 2005, he has been living in Athens, and since 2008, he has worked as a journalist for print and digital media (FAQ, Avopolis, Tachydromos, Popaganda, Kathimerini), primarily focusing on music.
In 2019, he created the website Sounds Greek to Me, dedicated to evaluating Greek songs. Today, he is a regular contributor to K magazine of Kathimerini and also works as a copywriter in the field of digital marketing.
He has published two music-related books with Patakis Publications (Bob Dylan – 100 Songs & The Beautiful Ones Are in Debt), and as a copywriter, he has collaborated with the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center.
The documentary "They Talk about Worship Here" is his first film.
