Polish director, graduate in Film Studies at the University of Łódź in 2015, he studied also Filmmaking at film.factory lead by Béla Tarr at Sarajevo Film Academy. In 2016 accepted for scholarship from international Visegrad Fund.
Born in 1986 in Piotrków Trybunalski, Poland, Michał Biegański spent his childhood in peaceful village, Rozprza. There over the years he developed interest in all kinds of arts: from drawing, through poetry and music, to film and photography - which appeared in his life already at the age of 8, when he received a small 35mm camera for hist first communion. After making a couple of fiction and documentary shorts, he completed his first feature film, Blisko. Occasionally he still writes poems and paints.
