Alba Sotorra is film Spanish director and producer based in Berlin. Her work focuses on stories of genuine characters that reflect on controversial issues like Islam and women, motherhood and warmongering. Through creative documentary she aims to open spaces for reflection and discussion to facilitate understanding of the world in constant change. She directed and co-produced “Unveiled Views” (2010), "Qatar The Race” (2011), Game Over (2015) premiered at Karlovy Vary, awarded in Docs Barcelona and theatrically distributed in more than 60 cinemas in Spain. In January 2015 Game Over won the Gaudì Award (the Catalan Oscar) for best documentary.
