Jana Hojdová is a Czech cinematographer, director, and producer. She finished her studies at FAMU in 2019. Her film, The Dream, was nominated for Best Cinematography in Short Film at Camerimage 2015 and awarded Jaroslav Kučera Award by AČK 2016. Her documentary Letopis - Petr Hojda was nominated for Best Cinematography in Short Film at Kamera OKO 2015. She was an international jury member at Kamera OKO Film Festival in 2021. Jana founded Bridge Films production company. In 2020, Jana shot the feature film Zrcadla ve Tmě, which was directed and produced by Šimon Holý and had a world premiere at Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Currently, she is working on her feature-length documentary about cinematographer Robert Richardson.
