Tetyana Hanzha was born in Kalush, Ukraine. In 2020 Tetiana graduated from Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Ukraine) with a Master's degree in theory, history of literature and literary studies. In 2020-2021 Tetiana participated in Documentary Film Lab for Young Filmmakers Indie Lab under supervision of Dmytro Tiazhlov, Ella Shtyka and Alrick Brown (Kyiv, Ukraine). The programme resulted in her debut short documentary "Books versus Asphalt”, which was presented at the American Independent Film Festival (Kyiv). In 2021 she participated in a series of workshops for young filmmakers -Young Europe under supervision of Jacek Blawut, Miroslaw Dembinski, Jacek Blawut Jr, Pawel Lozinski, Lidia Duda (Poland). Now her debut full-length film "Bouquinistes" is in post-production for broadcaster TVP (Poland).
