After her studies of english language and literature at the University of Banja Luka, she joined Taskovski Films team as festivals and markets coordinator. During her work with Taskovski Films she participated at Balkan Documentary Centre professional training as well as Ex Oriente Film workshop organized by Institute of Documentary Film in Prague. Marija represented Taskovski films at many industry events such as Thessaloniki Pitching Forum organised by EDN, IDFA, Zagreb DOX, Festroia Film Festival Portugal, DokuFest Prizren and many others.
