Margus Õunapuu has a colourful and lengthy background in film. Founded his own production company in 2001, Margus is the sole owner of the Film Tower production company and is a co-producer for one of the largest co-production projects in Estonia of all time. Margus Õunapuu has completed and is an alumnus of EURODOC 2004- 2005 and the EAVE 2008 programme. One of Margus Õunapuu’s more recent projects is the music documentary film u.Q. , which was an official selection in competition programm at Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, and won the award for best music film at the Eurofilmfest 2022 DEF29 in Prague and finally 2 Awards from EFTA / Estonian Film & Television Awards, 2022, Best Editing & Best Sound Design.
