Mariana studied editing at Prague FAMU and also at CalArts in California, where she went on a scholarship exchange program. Throughout her career which started already during her studies, she worked on many short films, tv programs for Czech TVs, tv documentary series, and full-length documentaries as "Teaching War", "Central Bus Station" or "Reconciliation". Her other part of work is focused on creating trailers for documentary films, dance movies, and collaboration on video art.
