Author, theater director, teacher. She studied philosophy and directing. In the 70s she co-founded experimental theatre group Puławskie Studio Teatralne, then she worked with Jerzy Grotowski\'s Laboratory and directed operas. In 90s literary manager in the Stary Teatr in Cracow, than in the National Theatre in Warsaw. She has taught theater at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow and at the Warsaw State Theater Academy. She is the author of books on theater and contemporary culture: \"Theatre of betrayed convenat\",\"Artists and the Pilgrims.\" „Other presence“ (2009).
