Dragana Jurišić is a photographic artist, writer and a filmmaker. She has exhibited extensively and won numerous awards, and her work is held in number of significant collections, including the National Gallery of Ireland, the Arts Council Collection and the Irish State Art Collection. Jurisic was cinematographer and researcher on the feature documentary ‘Get the Picture’ (dir. Cathy Pearson, 2013), an award-winning documentary about the remarkable life of John G. Morris, one of the most influential photo editors of the 20th century. She co-directed a film ‘Home | Ireland’ (2020), a 26 minute short film exploring the idea of home with asylum seekers in Direct Provision, commissioned by National Gallery Ireland. This is her debut feature film.
