Sarah Farhat is originally from Lebanon. She obtained her degree in Film and Television in Beirut where she produced and directed several short documentary and fiction films focused on women’s issues and inter-religious dialogue. Her work has been broadcasted on several local and regional Arab TV stations.In 2006 Sarah moved to the United States where she enrolled at a graduate program in Film and Electronic Media. That’s where she met Olha and the two women started working on the production of the documentary “Three Stories of Galicia.”After teaching photography, video and design at the American University in Washington DC, Sarah is now a multimedia producer at the World Bank.
