Zdeněk Blaha serves as the Programme Director at the Institute of Documentary Film, where he oversees the East Doc Platform, a significant networking event spotlighting upcoming documentary films from the Central and Eastern European region. Zdeněk maintains ongoing collaborations with festivals in the Czech Republic, including the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, where he contributes as a senior consultant for documentary film.
Outside his institutional role, Zdeněk works as a freelance consultant, offering his expertise as a script editor and UX consultant on various documentary and interactive/XR projects. Notably, he recently contributed to Darkening, premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2022.
