Marcin Mamon is an investigative and war journalist, scriptwriter and documentary filmmaker, recipient of many film awards and Golden Cross of Merit from President of Poland, Lech Kaczynski. His films look into the complexity and cruelty of war conflicts, follow mafia bosses and expose controversial politicians. Mamon takes his team to dangerous places up in the mountains to speak to Taliban leaders and Chechen partisans. He is an author of a 27 episode TV series “Corespondent” made for TVP 2 from places like Liban, Somalia, Kongo, Palestine, Iraq, Chechnya, Uganda, Kosovo and Afghanistan among others, and a 4 episode TV series „Dictators“ about presidents of former USSR. His films were broadcast on BBC (Storyville) (U.K.), Channel 4 (U.K.), TVN (Poland) and TVP 2 (Poland).
