Katarína is a Film Programmer at the One World International Documentary Film Festival in Slovakia. In this role, she carefully selects films not only for general audiences but also tailors them to specific groups, such as the deaf and hard of hearing, the blind and partially sighted, young parents and children, the elderly, and individuals without homes, ensuring everyone has equal access to a quality movie-watching experience. Katarína is also a member of the film selection committee at Movies that Matter for the Activist Film Competition and Dutch Movies Matter. Katarína is passionate about initiating discussions on human rights-related themes in documentary films and is actively involved in presenting films and leading post-screening discussions at international film festivals.
