Mara Cracaleanu is a Romanian-born, London-based film producer who has won over 60 international awards, with her projects screened and distributed globally. Her work has been recognized at top festivals like BFI Flare, Torino FF, DocuDays, Rhode Island, Astra FF, etc. She actively participates in major markets and festivals, including the MIA Market, where her docu-series was selected and pitched, as well as in the Ex Oriente Lab. A jury member at three US-based film festivals and a member of Women in Film & TV UK and Women in Film LA, Mara founded Melancholia Pictures, focusing on international co-productions bridging Europe, North America, and Asia. She is developing several international projects.
