Wiesław Dąbrowski’s most recent film, Paderewski: A Man of Action, Success and Fame – has proved a worldwide success, and in 2014 won the prize for the Best Historical Documentary at the DocMiami International Film Festival at Roca Baton, Florida, the Silver Saber for the Best Historical Film at the 5th International Historical And Military Film Festival in Warsaw, as well as the Television Award - Certificate of Merit at the 50th Chicago International Film Festival. His earlier film Michał Urbaniak, A New Yorker by Choice won the Gold Remi Award at the WorldFest Houston International Film Festival (2010), and for his documentary film Henryk Wars – A Songster of Warsaw Wiesław Dąbrowski was awarded the Crystal Prize of TV Polonia (2007).
