Jan Tesitel is a graduate of Prague’s FAMU Directing
department. His debut feature film David (2015) premiered in Forum of Independents
competition at Karlovy Vary Film Festival and also competed at FNC in Montréal, São
Paulo IFF or Valencia IFF. Jan is currently in production of his second feature film, a documentary project Dakar Sistaz (Best Documentary Pitch at Heart of Europe 2023) and a TV show Willows (HBO Europe Award at Midpoint 2019). He also works as a director on numerous documentaries or fiction shows for Czech Television, as well as on television commercials.
