Director, screenplay writer and producer of documentary films. He focuses on producing films with historical topics, films about art and popular and educational works. After graduating from FAMU – Film and TV School of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (1979–1984), department of documentary film, he worked as a director at the Film Studios Gottwaldov. He is freelance now.
