Ruth Kaaserer was born in 1972 in Kitzbuehel and grew up in Munich. After that she studied sculpturing at the academy of fine arts of Vienna. Between 2002 and 2008 she also lived in Chicago and New York. During her stay in the US her first feature documentary “Tough Cookies” was produced. Since 1997 her artwork and films are being exhibited internationally.
