Born in 1970 in Bucharest, Romania. University of Bucharest (1993). Master’s degree from the Free University Brussels (1993) Master’s Degree in Cinematography and Media (2004) National University of Theatre and Cinematography, Bucharest / Film Direction. Has worked in television since 1994. Documentary production and directing. Participation in several international workshops - Hellenic Audiovisual Institute, Media Academy, Aristoteles, ESoDoc. Selected filmography: Easter Traditions in Bucovina (2000) - Malvina Ursianu – Movie Mirrors Life (2002) - Chronicle of an Ending System (2002) - Arghezi at Home (2003) - Ciucurencu (2004) - Artist Life (2004) - Twilight of Goldminers (2006) - Mountain Penelope (2007). Awarded a Golden Olive at the Bar Intl. TV Fest (Montenegro) for Easter Traditions in Bucovina (2000), awarded a Best Portrait Documentary by the Romanian Association of TV Professionals for Ciucurencu (2005), awarded a Best Screenplay Olive at the Bar Intl. TV Fest (Montenegro) for Twilight of Goldminers (2006). Member of international juries for film and TV festivals (Bar Golden Olive TV Festival, 1998, Bratislava International Film Festival, 2005).
