A graduate of film studies at the Jagiellonian University and the School of Radio & TV at the University of Silesia in Katowice. Recipient of numerous festival awards, inlcuding Milan, Lodz and Warsaw. Her most important films are: Love in the Time of Extermination (Milosc w czasach zaglady, 2001), Tell Me Your Story (Opowiedz mi swoja historie, 2004), Childhood in the Shadow of Death (Dziecinstwo w cieniu smierci, 2004). Tell Me Why received the Audience Award and the President of Polish Filmmakers Association Award at the Krakow FF.
