Martin Hrubý (*1987 ) graduated fromthe Academy of Fine Arts in Prague.Over a long period of time, he hasrelated his artistic work mainly toarchitecture as a complex field, whichoffers a wider theoretical potentialfor recording cultural and socio‐political processes. From the directthematization of architecture in theform of objects or spatial installationsin a gallery, Martin‘s work has shiftedtoward the merging of artistic anddocumentary strategies. The film mediumbecomes a tool which best accommodatesthese tendencies. Oscillating on theunclear borderline between fiction andreality allows for the construction of acomprehensive picture of an architecturalobject as multifaceted phenomenon.
