Ania Waśniewska studied film at Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada, and has a Masters Degree in Political Science and Journalism from the University of Warsaw, Poland. In the past she worked for several Polish Television stations as a reporter, and in a variety of news, current events and educational programs. Ania Waśniewska currently resides jointly in Ljubljana, Slovenia and Warsaw, Poland and has had published a variety of articles and commentaries in Polish press from her travels in the Middle East, Asia, North America, Australia and New Zealand. In addition she is a member of the Ljubljana International Film Festival Program Selection Committee.
