Lena completed her Master's degree in Theatre, Film, and Media at the University of Vienna in 2009. During her studies, she began her professional career with the Viennale (Vienna International Film Festival), the Vienna Film Commission, and the Diagonale (Festival of the Austrian Film). Following this, Lena relocated to Munich, where she worked as a Marketing Manager for several German independent film distributors.From 2017 until 2020 she worked for Sheffield Doc/Fest as well as for the 2019, 2020 and 2021 edition of IDFA and their industry department. Since 2022 Lena is the Forum Manager at Nordisk Panorama.
