Erik Winker has been working in the documentary industry for over 25 years and is co-founder of CORSO Film. CORSO productions are shown worldwide and have won numerous awards, including the Camera Award at Sundance, the award of the Semaine de la Critique Locarno, the German Television Award or three nominations for the European Film Award. The company's credits include successful films such as WORK HARD PLAY HARD, SEARCHING EVA, TWO MOUNTAINS WEIGHING DOWN MY CHEST, A WOMAN CAPTURED or TAMING THE GARDEN.
Erik is a tutor for international workshops such as Dok.Incubator or ESoDoc and a regular member of festival and funding juries. He´s a member of the German Film Academy and the Documentary Association of Europe and a professor for documentary at The University of Applied Sciences Mainz.
