Alen Munitić is director of Mediterranean Film Festival Split. He started working in film industry in 2004 as a production assistant on many festivals like Motovun, Zagreb Film Festival, ZagrebDox, Animafest. He started Mediterranean Film Festival Split in 2008 and over the last 8 years FMFS became most visited cultural event in Split. In 2012 he started another project, "Kino Mediteran" (Cinema Mediterranean) with an aim to revitalize old cinemas on Croatian islands and other small coastal towns. 26 cities are part of this project today and project managed to digitalize 6 cinemas in previous few years. Other working experience includes coordination of Sarajevo Talent Campus, production of video clips and short films.
