CURRICULUM VITAEADAM POLÁK* 20. 5. 1975 in Pragueproducer, executive producerPolák graduated Producing Department at FAMU in Prague (2003) and Secondary School of Communication Engineering (1993).Since mid-1990’s he has worked as a film producer, during his studies he started to work as a production assistant in the Short Film Studio. In 2000 he worked for the first time as a production manager on Petr Václav’s film Paralelní světy /Parallel Worlds/. In the following years he worked with many film production companies on many feature films, documentaries and almost sixty commercials. Polák was for a long time engaged with production company Negativ (as a production manager on Michaela Pavlátová’s feature film Nevěrné hry /Faithless Games/ or as an executive producer on Věra Chytilová’s feature film Hezké chvilky bez záruky /Pleasant Moments/). As an executive producer in EXIT Films production company he worked on Olga Špátová’s time-lapse documentary for TV channel NOVA Fenomén Gott /Gott the Phenomenon/.
