I turned to documentary filmmaking after a university career that combined philosophy, social sciences and fieldwork abroad. Touched by the richness of documentary cinema as a means of representing reality, I am involved with the association La Troisième Porte à Gauche in programming film-debates and with the Passagers du Réel Festival in Bordeaux. This association has enabled me to come into contact with many works of art and filmmakers, and to seek out a film-making style that can translate my experience of the world. This time of discovery and rumination enables me, nowadays, to work on my film projects and accompany social science researchers in making research films that take the language of film seriously.
"Things Of A Lifetime, Intimate Archeological Exercises" is my first film.
