Czech editor, screenwriter and cinematographer. Graduated at the Editing department at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU) and at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Charles University. As an editor, he has worked on numerous documentaries for example Coal in the Soul (2010) and as a co-writer on Into the Clouds We Gaze (2014). Both of them received the Best Czech Documentary Award at the Jihlava IDFF. He edited the last fiction of famous Czechoslovak New Wave director Jan Němec The Wolf from Royal Vineyard Street (2016). He has edited TV series for Czech television - The Czech Century (2013) and Bohéma (2017). He has also colaborated with HBO on feature-length documentary Amerika (2015) and The Lust for Power (2017). His work includes documentary films Our fathers (2019), Over the Hills (2019), 13 min (2021) and fiction films Jan Palach (2018), Two Ships (2021) and most recently Homies (2022). He is a nominee of Czech Lion Award for Best Editing.
