Mirko Rudić was born in Glina, Yugoslavia in 1987. He is a long-time and awarded journalist of the Belgrade based „VREME“ weekly. His articles were published in numerous Balkan and European magazines. Through his journalistic career, he specialized in refugee topics, transitional justice and the politics of Balkans. He worked as the author and coauthor on many TV reportages and programmes. He directed short documentary film about Middle east migrations called „Up the road“. In a feature fiction-documentary film „Hero 1914“ he played the main role.
