Jan Joost Verhoef is a Dutch animator and digital designer, living and working in Berlin. Verhoef graduated with a BA in Design at ArtEZ Zwolle in 2011. His graduation animated short (Plunge) was selected for the Vimeo Staff Picks and later licensed by MTV for Liquid Television. He has worked with the Deutsche Oper (La Damnation de Faust) and has often collaborated with Company New Heroes (Stichting Nieuwe Helden) from Amsterdam, The Netherlands, on multimedia projects such as OOG Den Bosch and De Club. His work has a heavy focus on the digital world, besides traditional 3D animation he works on generative image creation through code, sound and motion capture.
Formerly known as Lazy Bear Animation, he is part of Formzoo Animation & Design, together with Stefanie Kolb and Markus Günter.
