Péter Becz is a director and editorworking with documentaries and narrative projects based in Budapest. Studied MA in documentary filmmaking at SZFE in Budapest and MA in Film and Media at the University of Copenhagen. Since 2022 he is an elected board member of MADOKE, the Hungarian Documentary Association. His Danish-Hungarian co-production short, I Miss You, Marius (2021) received awards at Friss Hús Budapest, Prague Science Film Festival and Doc.Berlin. His hybrid film The Last Dinner (2021) has been mentored by Béla Tarr as part of his Freeszfe workshop. Currently working on a VR documentary experience about socialist block houses in Hungary titled Panel Program. He is the coordinator of DocLab, the post-production development workshop of Verzió Human Rights Film Festival.
Hungary
