Dmitriy Khavin began his film career at the Odessa Film Studios in Odessa, Ukraine. Since 1992 he has lived in the US, where he works as a director, editor and camera operator on documentaries and television programs. Dmitriy also works with human rights groups in US, Russia and Ukraine on using video to fight against human rights abuses.
