Born in 1976, Yasin Ali Türkeri started out as a photographer and filmmaker during university
years. Following that he worked as an editor in many awarded short and documentary films.
He co-founded his own production company named ESR Productions in 2006. He is a
member of the management board of the Association of Documentary Filmmakers (BSB) and
a member of International Documentary Association (IDA). He is among the founders of the
Istanbul Cinema Network initiative. He continues to work as a director and producer in films.
